Regulations
1. Name, location and objectives
1. The official name is NIA Club (“the Club”) of the Polish Philatelists’
Union (“PZF”).
2.
The Club is domiciled in the capital city of Warszawa, at the offices
of the head executive board of the PZF.
3.
The objectives of the Club are: to propagate and represent Polish philately
on the international forum and to integrate and unite philatelists interested
in Polish philately, living outside of Poland.
2. Members of the Club
1. Every extraordinary member of PZF becomes a member of the Club.
As well, any person who lives outside of Poland may also become a member
of the Club.
2.
Acceptance of an extraordinary membership is done by the head executive
board of the PZF, while acceptance of other, non-PZF members is done
by the president of PZF together with the president of the Club, based
upon a submission of a completed application form.
3.
Loss of membership may occur when:
a)
a member willingly resigns and does so in writing before September 30
of a given year (financial year-end of PZF),
b)
there is non-payment of member dues for one year
c)
a member is expelled. Decision to expel a member lies with the head
executive board of the PZF, as recommended by the by the president of
the Club, and may occur when actions of the member are detrimental to
the PZF and/or any actions deemed unethical in dealings with other members,
d)
a member is deceased.
4.
A member may be reinstated based upon a formal, written request and
provided that all unpaid dues have been paid.
3. Rights and obligations of Club members
1. Every Club member is automatically a member of PZF, with the same
rights and obligations, which among others, include:
a)
the use of PZF facilities to realize objectives as described in the
statutes of the PZF,
b)
taking active part in all PZF activities, including exhibiting,
c)
receiving awards and prizes from the PZF, as set out in the various
regulations,
d)
becoming philatelic jurors and experts for the PZF.
Members
of the Club must abide by the rules, which, among others, include:
a)
adhering to the statutes and recommendations of the PZF,
b)
conducting themselves in an ethical and friendly manner when dealing
with other members,
c)
paying membership dues on a regular basis.
2)
Membership dues are set by the head executive board of the PZF. Club
members must pre-pay dues annually to the PZF (currently, the dues are
25 euro).
4. Organizational responsibility
1. The Club is directly responsible to the head executive board of
the PZF, which holds the exclusive right to nominate the president of
the Club.
2.
The president of the Club organizes the Club’s tasks and is the only
official spokesperson for the Club in dealings with officials of the
PZF.
3.
The president of the Club receives from the head executive board of
the PZF any information deemed necessary in conducting the Club’s
activities.

These by-laws and regulations were implemented by the head executive
board of the PZF, decision nr 24/XIX/2007/ZG PZF, 2007.11.17 and supercede
all earlier versions. Any and all earlier versions of this document are
no longer valid.
